La Francaise French Bakery in Breckenridge

Amazing place for coffee and pastries. The service is friendly and all of the people who work there are very sweet and amazing! The pastries are to die for and the coffee is exceptional the best little hidden gem in Breckenridge. It I could give it a 10 star I would it is quite amazing highly recommended!

Today we bought a baguette and two wonderful croissants. The almond croissant was so delicious and so was the bread. Definitely will go back.

If you like bakeries and you like Breckenridge, Colorado then you need to visit La Francaise Bakery. Just steps from Main Street and the Blue River run off is just behind it. Get your pastry and sit outback with a nice coffee and a good friend. bon appetit

Amazing beignets! The panini sandwiches look fabulous. They have savory and sweet crepes with no line and lower prices than the very popular crepe cart

So glad we discovered this place and will be back for the crepes and good tea selection! Only have one gentle critique and it would be that the floors looked a bit grimey around the entire dining room. But thank you for the great service and being our new go to place! We don't eat off the floors, so who cares.

Came in to pick up a pecan pie last minute for Thanksgiving dinner... did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly and the cafe was very clean. Will definitely be back when in need of a sweet treat!

Perhaps my favorite bakery anywhere stateside. Old world craft yummy-ness and amazing presentation in each offering. I love that u can get a savory breakfast all day such as an perfect omelette and latte. Frequently a line but worth every minute as they move quickly here. We always make a point of dropping in here when n town and always leave with a smile.

Rating 100% based on food but oh my gosh our breakfast was amazing! The almond croissant was out of this world. We also shared the blue cheese and bacon panini. Simply put - Wow! If you appreciate bakeries then this is a must!

Wonderful French patisserie in downtown Breckenridge. The crepes are delicious, as are the quiche. Also recommend the Versailles, the hazelnut crisp at the bottom is divine.

Delicious! Cute little cafe. The croissants are legit!. I got a egg, cheese and brie croissant, and once I tasted the croissant by itself, I wished I had gotten it plain, because it was THAT good!. They also serve Lavazza espresso!

So we read this place was really good and placed our order for lunch. We waited outside due to covid and after 15-20 min we still didn’t have our food. We noticed another couple who came after us got their food but thought - maybe theirs didn’t require cooking. It turned out they got our food. When I went in to say we didn’t get our food; the young woman at the counter said it wasn’t her fault and said they’d make it again. We didn’t have time to wait so when I asked for our money back, I said - you didn’t even say you were sorry. The young woman said “got it. Thanks for the feedback”. So no lunch today and not even an apology. Not good customer service.

The Herauds have been nothing short of the best hosts and creators of the most decadent, authentic, and just absolutely delicious french cuisine!!! I wish I lived closer to be able to come as often as possible!

AMAZING Authentic French patisserie! My beignet was delicious! Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area! Everything in their patisserie case looks so good I wanted to try everything :) They also have a nice outdoor patio with views of the mountains and Blue River.

My friends and I stopped in Breckenridge en route from Cañon City to Glenwood Springs. We decided to park and walk around and we found this little gem. The gentlemen I was with got an espresso and a coffee; I got a hot chocolate. The three of us split a vanilla merengue and a beignet and let me tell you: they were amazing. I know how ridiculously difficult it is to make french pastries, so mad respect to these people, who do it well. The taste was remarkably good, and they're beautifully presented, as well. This place is DEFINITELY worth the stop.

The pastry cream filled beignets are out of this world. Best ever I have tried in the US and a very generous size too. We were devouring ours and almost didn't make it to the photo. Lol

We come to Breckenridge a lot, and every time we do we try to make it to La Francaise. Their bread is extraordinary, so a couple of loaves always come home with us. Their coffee's are so much better than Starbucks that I have to apologize for using the two places in the same sentence. Their sandwiches are delicious- a coffee and a sandwich are my favorite lunch up here. Finally, their pastries. Oh. My. God. Their pastries. My mouth waters just thinking about them. The selection is small, but exquisite. There's something here for every taste, I'd share my favorite, but they might be sold out the next time I come if I do!

Absolutely the best pastries, breakfast and lunch items anywhere in Breckenridge. Also, my favorite French restaurant in the entire state. Pastries are always fresh and authentic. Great social distancing and sanitizing procedure to ensure COVID-19 safety.

I haven't been to France yet but I've eaten many pastries at many bakeries over the years, and La Francaise is the most consistently excellent of all the bakeries I've visited. Friendly staff, good service, and indoor/outdoor seating are a bonus.

Cute French cafe worth a visit. Friendly staff. Beautiful pasteries and wonderful coffee. Wish the almond croissant was fresher, tho. Pasteries are baked on site, so I assumed it would be soft. Tasty, but hard like it was days old. (I visited late afternoon.) Still with a visit, tho!

I have been coming to Breck for years and always look forward to visiting this establishment. It is a true bakery! Everything is fresh and of the best quality. Because everything is made fresh I always go early and yes there is a long wait at times, and they do run out of my favorites. But that is the charm of a real bakery. Keep up the great work

I had their celebrated almond chocolate croissant today. It was extraordinary. I have only ever had pastry this good fresh from a bakery in France. This place is the real deal. The espresso was also done exactly right. Can’t wait to come back!

We went here for breakfast today and were able to sit outback and eat by the river. We got an assortment of crepes, omelettes, and pastries. I highly recommend this place. The food was remarkable. I felt like I spent the morning in France. There is limited seating inside, so if you intend to sit down with a large group, check the back patio. They also have a full coffee bar menu. I only got a regular drip coffee, and it didn't disappoint. I would come back tomorrow for breakfast again if I could! I highly recommend. (For anyone looking during covid, you can go inside and sit and eat)

This is real deal, and if you’ve never been to France, you will get a feel for some wonderful pastries. Also real croissants, French bread, breakfast and lunch options. I had the ham egg and cheese croissant- great.

La Francaise is an authentic French cafe/bakery. Over a five day trip to Breckenridge I visited three times. It’s that good. All of the baked goods are great and my family loved the croissant, the almond croissant, the apple croissant, and the pain au chocolat. I came for lunch one day and had a savory crepe and croque madame. When the croque madame came out it elicited gasps of delight from some of the other patrons eating nearby. Visually stunning and so, so tasty. La Francaise gets my highest recommendation. It’s honestly like being in Paris.

I always have to stop for an Almond Latte and maybe a pastry or two. So good!

We stopped in one afternoon to pick up some pastries to enjoy back at our hotel and were pleasantly surprised at the selection and quality. We have lived in Europe and the items sold here are very much on par (if not better) than what we encountered abroad. The fruit and almond croissants are outstanding with lots of flavor and complexity including a custard layer under the apples and marzipan baked into the almond pastry. Make sure to go to the left side case as you walk in to make sure you see all the pastries. There are even more elaborate tarts that we didn't see before ordering, so we will have to come back and get some of those before we leave Breck.

Cute little place on the river with some pretty awesome views! Very friendly staff and quick service. The pastries were fresh and delicious. The breakfast sandwiches were huge and scrumptious. My favorite however was the coffee selections and made in house whipped cream. The white mocha was absolute heaven. Fresh pressed beans and topped with the whipped cream...OMG! I highly recommend this spot while visiting Breckenridge for a quick breakfast or lunch. Sit outside on the patio and you can't go wrong!

Busy little spot with excellent pastries and good coffee. Perfect for a breakfast to go. Sweet and savory crepes and croissants, sandwiches, paninis, full coffee menu. Quick service, they're used to the rush! Bonus: the whole place smells sweet and delicious while you wait for your order - thank the fresh made crepes.

We have been to Breckinridge 3 times over 11 years, and we always make time to stop here! The pastries are so fresh and delicious. We have eaten our way through most of the pastry selection, and everything is amazing! My wife is also a huge fan of the hot chocolate with Chantilly cream. The breakfast selections are also wonderful - get the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, you will not regret it.
